'This House Believes the Government's Austerity Measures are Harming Society'

The Debating Society proudly presents it's first public debate of the year.

Mixed teams of students and invited speakers will be debating this topical motion before the audience has the chance to have a say in the floor debate. The best floor speech from the audience will win a bottle of wine.

The Debate is a great chance to see what University Debating is about. If you are new to King's or have been with us before, the debate is a great chance to meet or catch up with the Society.

Free drinks and refreshments will be provided after the debate. Stay a little longer and chat about the debate or talk to the Society Committee.

The Debate is being held at King's own nightclub 'Tutu's' at the Strand campus at 1830, 28th September.
